PRINCE Harry and Megan Markle’s wedding date and venue has been announced amid fears one crucial guest may have to turn down the invitation.
It was speculated the Queen would not be able to witness the nuptials first-hand because divorcee Meghan Markle has been married before.
The Suits actress married film producer Trevor Engelson in 2011 but divorced two years later.
Although the Queen has given her consent to the match – as she must for any marriages involving the first six in line to the throne – it did not mean she will be present at the wedding.
The monarch did not attend her son Prince Charles’ wedding to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall in 2005 but will be the guest of honour at Harry’s nuptials, according to palace officials.
A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman told Express.co.uk the Queen will be present for her grandson’s big day.
